Inspired by the bride’s vocation as a dancer, we kept all the decor full of movement, lithe, and native to the landscape. Treading a path embowered with prairie flowers, the happy couple exchanged their vows witnessed by two ancient willow trees reaching towards each other with entangled limbs. These ribbons of cattails, feathery grasses, fragrant mint, and delphinium from our farm were later moved to the tent to frame the dance floor. Using all local flowers, most of which we grew on our flower farm, added to the vibrant, youthful feeling of the design. With the look of an enchanted arbor, luminous in the late summer light, the tent was decorated with an abundance of firelight and flora presented with clean lines and organic loveliness.
