north shore wedding

The revelry began with a live Cuban Changüí band and fresh pavlova cocktails set against a riotous archway of gardenias, campanula, and lace-cap hydrangea. As guests gathered for dinner, the setting sun illuminated the sail-cloth tent, replete with ivory sisal carpeting and a barn wood dance floor. Farm tables were decorated with low ribbons of emerald moss and specialty ferns, punctuated by diaphanous displays of summery white ranunculus and phalaenopsis orchids. Covered in bone velvet cloths, other tables featured marble compotes overflowing with rare ferns alongside elements of wood and slate to underline the easy, “rough-luxe” feel. Wild, Bismarckia fan palms mixed with soft maidenhair ferns to “grow” up around the 24-foot stage, adding a rough-hewn wildness to the dance floor where guests celebrated until the wee hours of the morning.
